About Kerby Pierre-Louis

Kerby Pierre-Louis, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Acute Care Orthopedics in West Hills, California. Kerby takes great pride in working with the specialized practice, providing prompt, efficient, accurate, and effective care to patients 12 and older.

Growing up, volunteer work and community service were always paramount in Kerby's family. With his background and foundational roots, it was only a matter of time before a passion for helping others would transition into a pursuit of a career in health care.

Kerby has always desired to practice as a Physician Assistant, finding no better satisfaction than contributing to patients' health in the best way possible.

Education and learning have always interested Kerby, who is driven to keep up with the ever-changing medical profession and stay adept with current medical technology, knowledge, and clinical skills.

He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Pre-Med, from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, in North Dartmouth. He graduated with honors and the Ayling and Travelli Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. 

Next, he completed a Master in Physician Assistant Studies Graduate Program at the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York.

Kerby has worked as Physician Assistant in Perioperative Services at Valley Presbyterian Hospital, Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital (Whittier/Downey) Intercommunity Emergency Medical Group, Exer More Than Urgent Care, Valley Hip and Knee and Valley Presbyterian Hospital, and Fillmore Family Medical Group (Associated with Ventura County Medical Center.

His licenses include a DEA license, a California Physician Assistant License, and a New York Physician Assistant License, certified Nationally by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Certifications include New York State Governor’s Office of Employee Relations: HIPPA Clinical Care Job Training Section, New York State Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition Certification, and New York State Infection Control Training and Barrier Precautions. Kerby is also ACLS, BLS and PALS Certified.
